Iron Chests is a MineCraft Mod for Minecraft. This is the new Survival Mod for the game and has been out for quite some time now. It has had many good feedback from users and I feel like I’m always explaining something people don’t know, so I’ll get to that later.
Iron Chests is a type of furnishing which players can place in their homes, crafting stations, or outside their homes in their villages to gain extra resources. They can be crafted by players and placed on the map in Creative mode. These are crafted from cobblestones, which are stone bricks arranged horizontally in a square pattern. The Iron Chest has the same texture as other furnishing but is crafted only with iron.
Unlike many other MineCrafting mods however, Iron Chests requires cobble stone craft. Therefore if you do not have any of these, you won’t be able to craft iron furnishing with this mod. This is because the cobblestones, which are stone bricks laid horizontally, are impossible to find unless you mine them. Therefore, players who don’t mine these out are forced to use Iron Chests. The iron chest has many uses in the game, as it gives the player a lot of durability, allows crafting of higher quality items, and provides infinite book slots when crafting.
Iron Chests can be crafted by any player and anywhere. You do not need to have a chest of intermediate level to craft one. You will however, need to have sufficient amounts of cobblestone, which are found in mountainous areas. You can also buy cobblestone from most of the higher level shops, but there are many spots where you can get them for free. The chest will last you for years if you take good care of it, just like any other wooden furniture.
In addition, while using an Iron Chest, you can set up camp near your farm or cabin. This makes for a much more convenient farming experience, especially if you own a mine. You can keep watch over your crops and farm while resting in your cottages or campsites. Also, while you are inside the iron furnishing, you can collect all types of ore and sell it at the auctioneer. Thus you can make some very good money with this.
However, there are some disadvantages of using this type of furnishing, as well. If you mine all the cobblestone you find, eventually you will have to mine for iron to repair the damage of the cobblestones. Moreover, the fact that you can only store so much of the stuff means that you will have to keep a close eye on the prices of the iron or steel bars you are using, or you run the risk of running out. Because of these, I would recommend that you use a normal chest instead of this, but you can place the crafted blocks of iron on top of the normal ones to extend your storage space.
